I played ken's game last night, and it seems that the donks from Mountaineer have possessed Charlie Ha, Uncle Bob, Adam, and Nguyen.
Starts off with UB cracking my KK by chasing his 4-high flush draw but falling ass-backward into a runner-runner 2-6 straight. I later fold AA to UB on a board of 8 4 2 rainbow after he raises my $50 bet by $150. He didnt show, so I am guessing he actually had a hand, which I pray was a set and not 2 pr with some moronic suited hand.
Adam called about $20 cold with some junk hand like 3 5 and flopped the nut flush vs my JJ.
I saw Nguyen betting $25 preflop with 44, and calling huge bets with shit like K 3 off.
Later in the evening, I get JJ and re-raise Charlie's $12 bet to $35. Of course, UB calls (he seems to play every hand Charlie does...interesting) and Charlie follows suit. Flop is 7 5 2...I lead out with $75, Charlie, min-raises, UB folds, and I push with my last $150 or so. Charlie ALMOST folds, saying "I put you on an over pair", but then calls with his 7 6 off, hitting his 7 on the turn.
What's up with the 1-2 any more? Maybe we should make it a 2-5 or a 1-2 with no max buy-in? How do you play against idiot poker? I know I should be the last to complain, and I'll play just about anything, but I know when to lay down a hand.
I am taking a break from CPMG poker for a while. Casinos only for me. The play isn't any different any more, but the casino players dont know me.
